MVSA Football Frequently Asked Questions

* What does registration cover?

Your fee covers the following: Insurance/liability coverage, fee to the league, participation fee to the MVSA foundation, helps cover cost of using SVP, using lights, help to pay fee to referees on home games, cleaning/reconditioning of equipment and uniforms

* Will we receive a schedule for the entire season?

We will provide each player/parent a preseason schedule on opening day. The regular CBL season schedule will be distributed when it is made available by the league.  Schedules are subject to change and MV has no control of these last minutes changes.

* Where can I obtain an ID?

At any local Motor Vehicles Administration office. This ID is required by the 2nd. week of August

* Will every child have the opportunity to play?

Here at MV each child is given a opportunity to play. We have two levels, American division and National Division. The American division is our more competitive division in which the coach has the discretion of how much playing time a player may have.  In the National Division every player, regardless of skill level, will have the opportunity to play.

* What is the difference between an American Team & the National Team?

The American Division is the CBL's more competitive. Players on these teams have had a great deal of experience.  This is no MUST RULE in this division.  The National Division  is NOT as competitive.  This division is comprised of players that have little to no experience. This level is highly recommended for first year players or players that need to gain more experience.

* What is the policy regarding inclement weather?
